We will examine how the notes of individual "tracks" are created and what information they provide to assist the drummer. In fact, the created scores can be useful not only to the drummer but also to the entire band. Below you will understand why:
The "header" or titles of the compositions show the name of the "track," the performer (band), the album in which the song is included, the year, and who the drummer is. It is very important to use the specific song for which the notes are written. Usually, it is called the "Official audio recording." Of course, there are also other recordings (live performances, for example) that may not match the given notes. In the "Song List" subsection, you will find a link to the official audio. In the top left corner of the notation, the instruments from the drum set (Drum Key) used in the given "track" are shown. Usually, more instruments are shown than are used in the song.
Next are the tempo of the song and the measures themselves. Naturally, at the beginning of the measure, the size is shown.
As already mentioned in the "Song Structure" section, the individual parts of the song, A, B, C, etc. (Verse, Chorus, etc.), are shown. For convenience, parts of the song's lyrics are shown, as well as performances (e.g., vocal solo, guitar solo, piano solo, etc.).
On the left side, with each new group of measures, the time in min/sec and the numbers of the individual measures are shown. When rehearsing, it is easier to find where a part of the song starts or ends.
On the website, music scores are presented in two ways:
In the "Catalog" section, titles of individual compositions along with their performers and the price of the scores are visually displayed. Upon selecting a desired composition, a page opens where the title, performer, level of difficulty, tempo, time signature, and the drummer performing the piece are described. Additionally, you can view the first few bars of the composition (usually the Introduction and part of the first verse, depending on the song structure). On this page you will also see links to the Audio of the drums (matches the displayed part of the notes) of the song, as well as the audio of drumless version in MP3 format. This will give you the opportunity, looking at the notes, to get an idea of how the piece was performed by the drummer, also to rehearse together with the music and vocals, but already with your performance. By clicking the "Buy now" button, you can fill in your details (mainly email) and proceed to the payment page. After completing the payment, you will receive the full version of the scores for the composition in PDF format, also a link to download the drum performance and music and vocal without drums to the email address provided. Upon receiving the scores, it is advisable to obtain the "Official audio" recording of the song as it will correspond to the scores and demonstrate how the drummer precisely performed it.
Alternatively, in the "Song List" section, compositions are listed alphabetically by artist/group. Upon selecting a desired piece, you will be directed to the purchase page and can follow the instructions provided above. Additionally, by clicking the "Link" button in the table, you will be directed to a website where you can listen to the selected piece.
We wish you enjoyable playing of your favorite compositions!
